What UV printing is
UV printing is a modern way to brand items. The ink is printed straight onto the surface of the item and dries right away under UV light, leaving a durable, wear-resistant result.
This technique prints in full color, with great precision and sharp logo detail.
We most often print on USB drives, power banks, lighters, ballpoint pens, plexiglass, wood and PVC items.
UV printing or another method?
UV printing or laser engraving
Engraving lasts longer and looks more premium, but it's always one colour. UV printing reproduces exact brand colours and multi-colour logos.
UV printing or sublimation
Sublimation only works on polyester and specially coated items such as mugs. UV printing works on hard surfaces - plastic, metal, wood, acrylic.
Textiles
For T-shirts, hoodies, caps and bags we use embroidery or sublimation, not UV printing.
Where UV printing looks best
It gives the best result on flat and gently curved hard surfaces: USB drive and power bank housings, lighters, pen barrels, wooden and acrylic plates. Colours are truest on white and light surfaces; on dark items they look different, so tell us the item colour you picked when you send your inquiry.
How to prepare your logo
Format
Ideally the original logo file from your designer (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG). If you don't have it, send the best-quality image you have.
Colours
If your brand has exact colours, list them in your inquiry or send your brand guidelines.
Fine detail
On small items very thin lines and tiny text can get lost - check how your logo looks at the actual print size.
